Madyis Hub offers an optional Google Business Profile integration that lets a business reply to its Google reviews more easily, with the help of AI. This page explains exactly what Google user data the integration accesses, how it is used, stored and protected, and the control you keep over it. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Madyis Hub also offers a separate, optional Google Calendar integration (calendar.events scope) used to check availability and book appointments on your behalf. It is described in section 6 of our Privacy Policy, and the same Limited Use commitment in section 8 below applies to all Google APIs we use.
When — and only when — a business owner explicitly connects their Google account, Madyis Hub can read that business's Google reviews and help publish replies to them. Review replies can be drafted by AI for human approval, or, for positive reviews, published automatically according to rules the business configures. The integration is never enabled by default and is never used without the account owner's authorization.
The integration uses the Google Business Profile API. To operate it, we request the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage OAuth scope, together with the basic openid and email scopes used to identify the connecting account. You see and approve these scopes on Google's own consent screen before any access is granted.
We request the minimum data needed to provide the feature. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any Google data unrelated to managing your Business Profile reviews.
Google user data is used solely to provide and improve this user-facing feature. It is never used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models, never used for advertising, never sold, and never used to build profiles for purposes unrelated to the feature. No human reads your Google review data except where necessary to operate the feature, to comply with applicable law, to ensure security and prevent abuse, or with your explicit consent.
We store only what is necessary to run the feature: a record of each review we have processed and the reply status, plus the OAuth tokens required to keep the connection active. The Google review content we cache — review text, reviewer name and the reply we drafted — is automatically deleted after at most 30 days. Data is hosted on servers located in the European Union and protected with encryption in transit. When you disconnect or delete your account, the data we stored for that connection is deleted right away and we revoke the OAuth token with Google. You can also request deletion at any time by emailing us.
We do not sell Google user data and do not share it with third parties except the sub-processors strictly needed to run the feature (specifically, our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a suggested reply, and our cloud hosting provider with servers located in the European Union). These sub-processors are listed in our Privacy Policy and are bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
Madyis Hub's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request the scopes necessary to provide the feature, use the data solely to deliver and improve user-facing functionality, and do not use it for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Madyis Hub is an independent third-party platform that helps a business manage the reviews of its own Google Business Profile, with that business's explicit authorization. The Google Business Profile service itself is provided by Google at no additional cost; using Madyis Hub is optional and can be stopped at any time. See Google's guidance: Working with a third party.
